New Eliot Neighborhood Housing

IHI is developing 49 new affordable rental homes in the Eliot Neighborhood of Northeast Portland. This exciting new project is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Northeast Cook and Fargo Streets. It is a mixed-use development, which means it will include commercial space on the ground floor along MLK, with four stories of apartments above. The building will step down in height on the side facing residential neighbors and include a rooftop deck as well as an interior courtyard for resident gatherings. IHI will seek LEED Certification and integrate green building elements in design and construction that will minimize the building's impact on the environment, reduce utility costs for residents, and make it a healthier place to live.
