Pearl Family Housing
On June 16, 2017 IHI and its project partners broke ground on 93 new apartment homes in Portland's Pearl Neighborhood. This dynamic new, 12-story building will be located at the corner of NW 14th and Raleigh and will include 32 three-bedrooms, 31 two-bedrooms, and 30 one-bedrooms. 40 of the two-and three-bedroom apartments will be rent subsidized and set aside for families experiencing homelessness.

IHI is very excited about building large, family-oriented units in such an amenity-rich neighborhood. Our residents will have easy access to grocery stores, great parks, good schools, and several public transit options. The building itself will offer ample community space, including rooms for classes, meetings and community gatherings, a roof deck, an indoor/outdoor play space for children that opens to a second floor courtyard with play equipment, a large bike room on the second floor, and a ground floor bike lounge with a washing station. The ground floor will also house a coffee shop to help activate the streetscape for residents and neighbors.
