Whether it's supporting families with youth and adult programs, helping individuals navigate employment challenges, or connecting residents to vital community resources, our services are tailored to meet people where they are. We are committed to making IHI housing a foundation for long-term stability, growth, and success.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Innovative Housing’s Resident Services program is designed to foster vibrant housing communities while helping residents meet basic needs, maintain their housing, and access opportunities for improved household stability. Our primary goal is to make sure our residents maintain their housing.
STABLE HOUSING
Safe, affordable homes as the foundation for growth
We help residents maintain housing stability by providing lease education, rent assistance resources, and personalized support. Every new tenant receives orientation materials and the opportunity to meet with Resident Services staff frequently for support.
SAFETY & STABILITY
Eviction prevention, crisis support, trauma informed care
We intervene early when tenancy is at risk, offering legal education, resource referrals, and solutions like late-fee waivers to keep residents housed.
NAVIGATION & ADVOCACY
Guidance, advocacy and self-empowerment
We help residents addressing challenges, connecting with providers, and navigating complex systems. Our goal is not only to advocate on their behalf, but show them how to advocate for themselves.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Nutrition, fitness, and mental health resources
We partner with local organizations to provide healthy eating workshops, promote affordable access to nutritious food, and encourage wellness for all residents.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Resources for employment, education, and financial well-being
Our team assists with benefits applications, employment and education advocacy, and emergency financial support to remove barriers and promote long-term stability.
COMMUNITY BELONGING
Resident gatherings, celebrations, and peer connection
We foster vibrant communities through events like dinners, holiday celebrations, and tenant meetings that build relationships and strengthen neighborhood ties.
YOUTH & FAMILY SUPPORT
School partnerships, parent engagement, youth programs
From after-school activities and school supply giveaways to family engagement events, we support children’s academic success and strengthen family connections.
RESOURCES & EDUCATION
Linking residents to healthcare, food, benefits and more
Resident Services staff connect residents to community resources, distribute essentials like food and household items, and host educational workshops on-site.
